| Report: | "The BSSRC Chili Challenge 23" is up and running, a nice offering by the skipper, not too hot, a clever ploy leaving out the coriander so the chili can 'sing' and the sublime sticky rice, "wow, you are spoiling us", "as classy as your cross-court kill" remarked the opposition! And the squash: a stodgy affair from the lower echelons, though nice to see Johny "no-knees" McFarlane gracing court 1, like a young Rudolph Nureyev, special thanks to Richard "five-games" Williams and Andy "I don't play team squash" Clark. The usual bamboozling, racket wizardry from Paul "i have no idea where the ball is going" Scott Stevens, and the silky skills of Alastair "smoother than a velvet codpiece" Ambrose, concluded a comprehensive Hawaii 5-0. The only loser was the bar bill...onward and upward... |
